In my head.
Hi,

as in the title. I was running with my ipod, dont have any armholder or any similar thingy. Im keeping it underneath the sleeve, the forearm part. So, I was doing 5k and the moment I was done I wanted to end my workout, I wanted to unlock the ipod to be able to end it but the moment i touched it, the device went off and on. My iPad was all wet cos of the running..the next day I wanted to go for a run I found it dead :( Tried to fire it up but just black screen so signs of any life in it. Tried to reset it, no luck here. I plugged it to main power but seems like nothing happening.

Any idea? I dont want to lose my running buddy :(

Help !

yeah the sweat killed it. It has happened to me in the past.

Although the sweat technically broke the warranty due to wetness, I know plenty of people who bought it into an apple store to see what they say and the genius said they would replace it.

For the most part, they should be able to handle some degree of sweat, so instead of throwing it away I would bring it in and see if they give you a replacement as long as it still is within your warranty period.

In the future I recommend an arm sleeve for it or you can just go with a shuffe, clip it to a hat or outer shirt etc.

Im well out of luck as apple doesnt provide its extra apple care service where I am.

As to the iPod, it didnt die, its alive :D the wheel is broken tho. It works sometimes. Tried to restore it in iTunes but now it keeps rebooting on and on. iTunes never sees it, just try to restore it endlessly.

Any idea how to force it to power up?
