I was doing a workout yesterday, had my iPod in my pocket, and when I took it out when I got home, the screen was white, but the music was still playing. I looked online to see what advice I could find, and I've tried the toggling of the hold button and resetting it. This causes the screen to go black and reset like normal, but the blank white screen still appears after this. The iPod also beeps twice when this happens. I've restored the iPod, but to no avail. Anything I should be doing that I'm not? ...Or is it just time for a new iPod...

My daughters iPod did this exact same thing. I tried everything, but nothing worked. I took it to the Apple store & they just replaced it, telling me it was defective. Hers was still under warranty, I hope yours is too. Good luck.
