Before I begin: NO, IT IS NOT MY HEADPHONES. I've checked numerous headphones, and all the same result.

Anyways, I was listening to music and the headphone wire got stuck on something, and I think the jack broke something on the inside of the iPod. Any way to fix this?

BTW, I bought my iPod from a friend, so no warranty or anything.

unless you're skilled with electronics, It would be completely impractical to try to fix this yourself. You'd need to go into radio shack and buy a new headphone jack, take the iPod apart, and remove the old headphone jack and solder in the new one. That's about the only way I can think of fixing it.

Yeah haha. I would definitely recommend getting a new one. It will definitely make your life a lot easier, unless you enjoy messing around with that type of stuff.
