iPod Ipod nano 4th gen + universal dock?

Ipod nano and apple universal dock, anyone have this combination?

When I put the nano in the dock and use the remote it does not work correct. I can change song back and forth and turn volume up and down. But I cant use the menu button and I cant go up and down in menyes.

Hope someone can help me with this!
