So my ipod nano went through the wash after 2 days of being in a bowl of rice i turned it on however it won't sync or show the charging icon. But it seems to be charging.

Any suggestions?

A week - at least - in a bowl of rice (changed a few times) would seem to be the minimum. Two days is not long enough to allow the device to dry out. You could try putting it into another bowl of rice - and leaving the device switched off - - and not touching it at all - for several more days. Turning it on simply encourages the still damp interior to fry itself.

If that doesn't work - and it probably won't as you have already turned it on too early - then, you'll have to do as Alaerian suggests, and buy a new one.

Cheers
