Whenever I plug my iPod into my MacBook, it freezes. I always eject it and make sure everything is fine, but nothing seems to be helping. I jsut force quit it then restart it. Am I hopeless and have to wait for the next update, or is their a solution?

And I believe it's 5th gen. The red one with the video.

As your signature says, its the 3rd gen. So what exactly is happening, the computer not recognising it at all? If so, try in another computer.

I don't even know anymore. I have the new iPod Nano. It's red, 8GB and can play movie.

And when I plug it in, the iPod lights up, then doesn't move. So I do the thing where you you hold the button and menu button. Then I turn it on, so the Apple screen comes up. Then It turns on narmally, and I can plug it in without problem.
