I have an 8gb iPod Nano 6G and wear it on a wrist band. kind of like a watch. My questions is: I'd like to use the pedometer more. However, will it work while on my wrist? or do i need to clip it to my shoes? I wear combat boots at work and it would be difficult to clip to anything but the string. I'd like any opinions and/or ideas on where to get the best result. Please keep in mind that it must be secure as my profession often time requires me to be a little physical with people. [i am a security officer for a major metropolitan hospital]

You definitly dont need to put it on your shoes Waistband would probably be best. You may get inaccurate results on your wrist since your hands/arms may dampen your walk. Alright you are doing something with you hands it may register as you walking.
