Whenever I think of the rumoured iPod Nano 6G, I think making a watch accessory would be really cool! It could have a heart rate monitor in it, so you could use the watch as a fitness thing, like the armbands you can get, only better. The screen isn't too big to be a watch face either, if it was priced right, I'd certainly get it!

I have to admit; I like your thinking.

If they could find a way to make them stylish enough for guys, without looking douchey or Apple obsessed it'd be great.

I could really use an excuse to have all my iTunes library in a watch-like device.

I struggle to imagine Apple branching into such an awkward niche however. iPods can be about vanity to some people, but not fashion.

you know what? I think that is a great idea, even without the heart rate monitor, it can just be a awesome mp3 watch.

I an going to hope that it can display the time when not in use now, even if it doesn't have an official watch bracelet mod you can always just use it with a sweat band or such.

I imagine it will be able to pair with nike+ and the heart monitor so your wish will come true too.

I thought of this idea a little bit ago (once seeing the new design) and knew that people would be thinking of it as well! I can't wait to see what Griffin, Belkin, Incase, SwitchEasy, Speck, et cetera come up with for this baby. I will buy one if it can be a feasible watch.

ya know I thought about the same thing when i watched the keynote video. however apple left out one very important thing for the watch idea to be really useful. BLUETOOTH! if you could use A2DP then a watch is a no brainer. however having a headphone cable attached to your wrist well working out would pretty foolish if your going to use your arms haha.
