iPod iPod Nano 6th gen sleep/wake button stuck.

After only a year of usage my Ipod Nano stopped working, while turning it on the sleep/wake button appeared to be stuck. I can't turn the display on without plugging it in now, is there any way how I can fix it?

I sent Apple an email about this, but I don't think they will do anything for me..

This is a very common problem. They fix this issue under warranty, but all 6G nanos are out of warranty by now.

You could fix it yourself, but it's not easy. Or you can wait to see if Apple ever issues a recall.
