iPod iPod Nano 7 generation not charging!

HELP!!! My new nano 7 is not charging. I bought it a few weeks back, so it is fairly new. It just died and I plugged it in to my charger (connected to a block) and I noticed it wasn't turning on. Please help! Thanks!

What happens when you plug it into your computer? You could also take it back to Apple and get them to fix it/give you a new one.
