iPod touch IPod Nano 7th gen or Touch 6th gen?

I previously had an iPhone 6 and loved the music quality. My headphones are Sennheiser HD 558.

I shifted away from apple to experiment, but i still want an ipod that sounds at least similar or better than my iPhone 6. So should I go for the touch 6g or nano 7g? Which sounds best and also how are both of them at driving my headphones? I do not want to buy an extra amp. (No sugesstions for the classics and older models please, since I don't have access to them in the market?)

I can’t speak directly to the nano but the iPod 6 gen was good for me sound wise. The only reason I got rid of it was bad battery life so I just got an iPhone SE. The SE sounds as good as the iPod 6 gen. I would imagine the nano and iPod 6 gen would sound comparable.

I'm not sure how they compare sound wise but I think the Touch 6 has much more value.
