iPod iPod Nano Boot Loop

I bought an iPod Nano for $20 off craigslist cause the owner said it was broken and he couldn't fix it. Well apparently the issue is that's it's stuck in a boot loop. I turn it on, it shows the apple logo, rinse and repeat. Is there a way to fix this?
