I have been downloading full length videos from YouTube for a site called "KeepVid". When I import the MPEG-4 videos to my iPod nano (4th gen) I get a strange playback issue. Once it gets to around the 10 minute point of the video, the movie goes in fast forward but the audio remains as normal. It seems to go in fast forward for about 15 seconds, then it skips. Within a minute or two the 2 hour video ends. If you try to fast forward the video, the video audio picks up where the video started fast-forwarding.

It plays back fine through iTunes. Is there a problem with the youtube converter I am using? Do I need to do something to the iPod?

Same here!

This really is a frustrating thing! It gets to about 10 minutes on mine too, and then fast forwards the visual, leaving the audio in the same speed. Just like you said. Its weird though because it doesn't happen with video of a length of 20 or so minutes but it does with a 40 minute clip. the number system on the timeline becomes very incorrect when doing the speedy thing. i really dont understand!

I have spent the last hour or so trolling through other websites and i cant find anything! Hopefully somebody in the know will speak up ;)
