iPod ipod nano replacement program cracked screen

Hi i was just wondering for the replacement program will they replace an ipod with a cracked screen. it still turns on, Though not charged when put into box forn shipping . Will they still replace it?

I doubt it will matter because the concern is about an overheating battery. Replacing the battery will remove anymore liability on their part. But from what I have read is that the replacement will be a refurbished 1st generation Nano, so it sounds like you would make out.
