Ok. Heres what happened, I recently bought a refurbished ipod nano (16g, touchscreen) from apple. After receiving it, I was able to load songs onto it and charge it once. However, after disconnecting it from the computer, the connector appeared to break. The ipod wouldn't respond to being plugged into the computer, or the wall. I also experimented with multiple cords.
Assuming the damage was due to the refurbished status, I sent it back to apple and promptly received a new ipod (same version). I was able to plug this ipod in and load music, However, it appears that this one is also broken. It will not respond to being plugged into the computer. Also, it wont hold a charge. It only works if I plug it into the wall, but if I unplug it, it immediately shuts off.
So my question is: Is this just a coincidence? Or is there any reason that my computer, or wall charger (which is an older one that I use for my Ipod touch) might be breaking my ipods?
