Hi guys this is my first post here on mac forums so hello :D
so im thinking of getting the new ipod nano over the ipod touch. I like the idea of the ipod nano, being new, different and quite compact but im sorta afraid becuase it is somewhat of a new product (complete new design despite its name) and therefore it'll have bugs and quirks. Also it doesnt have a lot of features compared to the touch. the itouch tho isnt really needed since i have a smartphone ( galaxy S) but i'd like to use it as a PMP and for games.

Personally i love the look of the nano but wish it has some extra features. So maybe my choice should be the itouch this year and and get the next revision of the nano nxt year. Hopefully the touch interface for the nano will still be there (remember the shuffle's no button phase  ).

Do you guys agree or should i do it the other way?

Welcome to the mac forum, Cankid96. The two iPod models are quite different and you should choose accordingly to your usage.

The iPod Touch is as much a portable game console as a music player. With cameras added and Facetime capability in the new Touch, it is perfect if you want a multi-purpose gadget.

The new iPod Nano is essentially a music player, now that it has "lost" the camera and even video playing ability? If all you need is a music player, this is a good choice vs. Touch for its smaller form factor.

Cheers.
