I always thought Apple should sell via TV like Bose, but the presentation of the iPod Nano I just saw on QVC 7:15 PM eastern today was awful.
They are selling the 4gb Nano for $229 with a travel charger. They have two presenters one who asks questions and one who answers. The guy asked how many songs the the 4 gb nano holds and he said repeatedly that it holds about 5,000 songs! Even the Apple consultants at CompUSA would know better than that.
They made it seem like without their bundle that it was impossible to charge an iPod because they didnt make the distinction between the included ability to charge by the computer and the ability to charge via the wall.
Does Apple control who sells their products? QVC often will have a representative from the company whose product they are selling. I am pretty sure this guy is not from Apple. I don't think he could get a job at an Apple store.
