Hello MR's! I recently found my old iPod Photo (4th Gen 20GB) and I'm trying to revive it. I purchased and installed a new battery for it and that worked well as the old one was toast.

Now onto the problem. I did the, I believe, Linux hack where you could load Linux into it and run that which was awesome as it had tons of games and whatnot but ever since I've tried to revive it I just get a Kernel Panic when it loads up.

I get the Apple logo screen and the hard drive winds up then clicks and restarts. If I hit the "rewind" side on the click wheel it loads up the Linux portion but I get the following image:

What're my options? Is this hard drive toast? I can't get it to sync up to my computer or anything so how can I save the hard drive? Any input would be great, thanks everyone!
