iPod Preferences

Does anyone know if there's a way to access the iPod preferences in iTunes without having the iPod connected? Uusually the preferences disappear when you disconnect the ipod and I'm going to connect my ipod to his computer back at his house and I don't want it to automatically match my ipod to his iTunes and delete my files.

When you plug your iPod into "his" computer it will ask you if you want to sync up to the new computer. All you have to do is tell it nope.
edit: And even if you did sync it to the other computer all you would have to do is sync it back to your own.
