My ipod has become rather scratched despite having only owned it for a month and i was wondering if there was anything i can do to clean the screen. Is there any type of cleaner i can get for ipod screens so i can watch movies on it comfortably?

Spit Shine? A little bit of water? Kleen Wipes?

There are a number of things you can use, but the scratches you get on an iPod are your own fault. Unfortunetely the things tend to scratch easy. There are also stickers that add a layer of protection. Hopefully someone can lend you a link.

i know the scratches are only there b/c of me but apple didnt exactly chose the greatest material to make the ipod out of. it looks great but absorbs marks like a banshee

They really do. It might have been a marketing ploy, I believe Steve Jobs said something about getting a new iPod each year at the 5th avenue store opening.

For removing scratches, I would suggest this tutorial;

There are others which are very similar as well, I suppose it most work. :rolleyes:

Apart from that, many fine retailers, shuch as BestBuy/London Drugs/Future Shop...well I live in Canada so I'm probably waisting my time. Just go to your favourite tech store and pick up a nice case for "yo' pod".

Not sure what to do about the current condition, but once you send your ipod in for battery service under warranty, you'll have a fresh exterior to work with. I use the invisible shield on my ipod and haven't had a problem with scratching of any kind.

if you want to prevent scratches i recommend the invisibleshield and for cases, the agent 18 case

Why dont you get a case of some sort then? :confused:

thanks for the over-the-top smiley. getting a case is sort of a "duh" and actually doesnt get rid of any of the scratches i have on it at the moment.
