Does anyone else wish that they had the ability to dictate that a song plays after the one you are currently listening to?

I really want this feature too.

I'm not sure why everyone's so confused. My iPod Mini from 2004 had it, so it's certainly not a new idea. (It called it an 'On-the-Go' playlist.)

From what I can tell, that feature never made it on to the iPhone. Not sure why.

Because the last one sold was in 2004.

I'd like this feature, too. Lots of other music players (portable or on a computer) have it - a song is playing now and you don't want to stop it to start another song, you simply want the other song to play immediately after this one.

I always thought it would be cool to have a Dynamic Playlist feature... kinda like Genius, but more specific and doesn't interrupt the current playback.

So suppose you hit shuffle, and "Basket Case" by Green Day comes up.

You leave it on Shuffle, it shuffles whatever playlist you're in.
You hit Genius, you get a playlist based on that song.

OR You tap an icon, and you can have it queue the next song to be either:
The next track in the "Dookie" album or another Green Day song.

without interrupting the playback of the current song.

So, an instant queue based on whatever tags are in the song.
