iPod iPod Radio Remote and iPod Mini

Does anyone know if this remote (http://store.apple.com/us/product/MA070G/D) will work with my iPod mini (2nd gen, 4GB)? I don't want to use the radio - I just want to use it to play/pause or skip songs in my car.

The Apple Store website says that it's only compatible with iPod nanos and 5G's, but I think that's talking about the radio tuner.

I am not sure whether that will work, but my best guess would be no.

Why don't you try to find the old remote that was made for the mini on ebay or something? Its probably much cheaper, and guaranteed to work.
