I had two ideas for iPod securtiy software and I was wondering if either was possible for someone ot program.

First off why can't their be a keypad/scroll wheel lock like on a cell phone. Think about it, if you want to "lock your iPod" you click FF, RR, Play, FF, Menu and the iPod starts up. I know its a bit crazy but i'm jsut thinking maybe it coudl deter theft.

Also why couldn't someone make a program that sends out an email if your iPod is plugged into someone elses computer. This seems a bit out there but perhpas it coudl check for a file on the PC/Mac once conected and if the file was there it could read the PCs information and send it....i know that sounds a bit farfetched but if you tihnk about it if laptops can do the same why not with an iPod. The reason I say this is cuz especialyl at places like colleges the computers are always online so its not like the iPod woudl have problems sending the email.

Just a few ideas I had hoping someone might know of software that does this or want to make this osmeday. Thanks for readin Kwyjibo.
