iPod Ipod Shuffle 3G Earphones or Adaptor help

I cant stand the apple earphones and I was wondering if anyone knows of an adapter that can be attached to another set of earphone to allow you to control the 3 gen shuffle.

I have an awesome set of sennheiser/adidas earphones but want to use them with the shuffle.

Please give me suggestions
