Hello all,

I've tried looking everywhere online and cant seem to find an answer to my question. I have had the iPod Shuffle 2g and when it died i bought the 3g. It recently started losing control while working out (due to sweating) and I found that many of you had the same problem.

Has anyone had similar problems with the current shuffle? I know its only 50 bucks, but it would be a waste of money if it didn't fix the problem.

Thanks again
Eric

Since the 3rd gen requires head phone controls to operate this issue only applies to the 3rd gen shuffle.

The 4th gen now has its own buttons meaning you can use head phones that do NOT have the control on the cord that shorts out and operate it directly from the device itself.

In order words, this issue is the apple buds with the remote not with the shuffle itself.
