iPod iPod Shuffle and USB Power Brick?

i have a 30GB iPod Photo and my girlfriend has an iPod shuffle.

Anyone know if i can use my iPod Photo USB PowerBrick to charge her shuffle? the light goes amber i think, so i guess its fine, but can anyone confirm? i guess you could use Airport express too and its a USB power source.

I also have the 30 GB iPod Photo and a 512MB Shuffle.

I use the powerbrick with the shuffle all the time.
