Hi all,

I've got a lot of iPods, and none of them do this weird thing except the 1st gen iPod shuffle:

If I listen to music using my 1st gen shuffle, and then sync the iPod with iTunes, it updates the play counts of songs that I didn't listen to. It seems to pick the songs that get updated with a new "play" by random, and rarely any of the songs I actually did listen to get properly updated. I love using this iPod, but it's a real annoyance to not have accurate play counts. Has anyone experienced this before, and if so, any suggestions on how to fix it? This didn't used to happen years ago when I used this iPod frequently, it seems to have happened some time in the last couple years with iTunes. I'm running Mojave iTunes Version 12.9.5.5.

Thanks!
