iPod iPod Shuffle vs washing machine

Hi! The other day my girlfriend did a laundry, and you guessed it, she didn't notice my father's iPod (a hostage I took so he would keep a promise, actually) in the pocket. Now, eight days later, it works again! I just connected it to the MBP, iTunes fired up, and Boom!, it synched up!!!! Unbelievable!
I've read stories about it surviving laundries before, but when you witness it, it's actually even more impressive!
I love this small aluminum thing!

I actually had a nano, treo and bluetooth headset survive a washing and drying. I was in complete shock. First at that they survived and 2nd that my fiance didnt notice them all in the same pocket.

Sometimes fate seems to be just right...

FWIW, I dried it with a hair-drier for twenty minutes (slightly warm air), and then put it over a radiator for several days.

Yeah, I think you had a smart idea drying it out thoroughly before plugging the little bugger into you expensive MBP
