iPod Shuffle Wont Update!

Hey guys, I just got a new iPod Shuffle and I set it to only update the "checked" songs in my library. All of them are checked and it only updates two or three of them out of about fifty. Is there any way I can fix this? The only way I can get by it is adding every single song to my iPod, which takes really long and it unnecessary. Why won't it just update the checked songs in my library? Thanks.

I'm not sure the shuffle is supposed to work the way you expect it to. It updates only when you click on the Autofill button.
