A few days ago my 40 GB ipod [2nd gen, pre-video] started freaking out -- froze, then would madly flip through all my songs. I restored it, back to zero, but now when I have hooked it up to my ibook [using itunes 7.2] this 40GB ipod now says it has a capacity of 16GB. Huh? Has this happened with anyone else? Did I actually lose more than 23 GB of space on the ipod? Any thoughts?
