iPod iPod to iTunes playlist transfer?

Is there a way to transfer playlists from an iPod back to iTunes?

I have a 3G ipod that I forgot about and has a lot of old playlists that I created but did not transfer to the new Mac. I'd love to get those playlists back without having to create them all by hand again. All the songs are still in iTunes. When I hook up the iPod and it gives me the "this iPod is connected to another iTunes - erase and sync" message.

Any ideas?
