i have 2 computers, one has my router connected directly to it, the other one is using the wifi from the router. is it possible to control my itunes library with the remote application using the computer that is using the wifi signal? any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

No special router configuration is necessary as long as you are both on the same 'side' of the router. Of course this means that if you have a simple Linksys router or something similar, that your router is wireless, and you plan to connect to another computer sharing the same wireless or to a computer on that same router's ethernet interfaces (typically one of the 4 LAN ports).

This is really very simple. Give it a shot and I'm sure it will "Just Work™".
