I currently own a 2nd Gen 16GB iPod Touch. I am experiencing some problems with it and believe they are hardware related. I have a genius bar appointment tommorow. If they feel the need to replace my iPod, what is going to happen since they do not make the 16GB model anymore? Do they still have refurbs in stock? Or will I have to send it in?

They might come up with a fix like a restore. If they do have to replace it, and they dont have a 16GB, then they will most likely give you your money back or offer you a discount. But a restore will most likely work, have you tried one?

My iPhone 3G kept getting 3G replacements until nearly a year after the 3GS release, then they replaced it with a 3GS because it happened to me so many times. So they'll probably have some 16GB's in the back of the store.

Yes, I have tried a restore any times. No luck. I hope they have some extra ones laying around in the back.
