iPod Touch 2G (3.0) Microphone

What's the best mic to get for a 2nd gen Touch (ideally in line, with headphones)?

I checked Amazon.co.uk for the mics listed in here https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/606567/ in the OP. The Griffin only got about 2*, the Philips that popped up might not be the one mentioned in that thread.

Any other suggestions?

Personally, I like the iFrogz Timbre Earpollution earbuds. Very comfortable--with mic inline. Good, clear sound. When I want just a mic, i.e. for recording notes or an interview, I use the Thumbtack Mic from Switcheasy. Love the thing: just right for the job.

The Monster iSoniTalk is pretty solid, and it only costs $15 (which is very unlike Monster's usual pricing structure!). I've had one and been happy with it; according to some reviews I've read, it beats out a lot of more expensive mics in sound quality. I think you can get them at Best Buy.

I couldn't find all of the mics mentioned and the ones I did find (on Amazon) got very poor reviews. In the end I decided to go with http://www.amazon.co.uk/Mini-Microp...1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1259586101&sr=8-1. Cheap and cheerful.
