Hi! I just got my iPod touch 8GB. As soon as I got it I upgraded from 3.1 to 3.1.1 before I did anything.

Everything synced fine, but I cannot connect to the internet through my imac.

My iMac is set up to share Ethernet Internet over Airport to Other devices using AirPort.

Everything on the mac's side seems to be OK (but ask for any more details if you need 'em)

On my iPod, when i go into network, wifi, turn wifi on, it cannot find any networks (it should be finding my home network)

I then click on "Other" and put in my home network's details manually, and the iPod returns the message "Cannot Find Network"

AirPort is turned on in my iMac and my ethernet router is also on and connected. Safari on the mac works fine.

Any help is appreciated!

EDIT: I'm using WEP encryption and a 5-character password.
I've tried without encryption and I get the same results. :)
