So I take the train now to and from work and on the way back I want to pass out but I don't want to miss my stop, so I set my alarm to wake me up but the alarm also goes off on the iPod itself and I'm sure it's annoying to other passengers.

Is there a way that the sound from the alarm only goes off in your headphones? I always have mine on listening to music. I couldn't find a setting.

Is this possible?

Thanks.

Wirelessly posted (iPhone 3G (16GB, 2.0.2 JB'd): Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_0_2 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5C1 Safari/525.20)

I don't know, but I SWEAR mine used to do it like that -around the time I upgraded to 1.1.4 I noticed that it wasn't just playing through the headphones.

There should be a way to do this. Clearly if you're wearing headphones, you don't want or need the iPod to make noise ...

I know it is really annoying. Anyone know of a way to do it?
