Hi guys I know I'm completely new at post here and whatnot but I had one heck of an idea last night. It might not be possible but I'm throwing it out there.
What if your car CD player, AM/FM Radio, the music, movies, and games on your iPod could stream wirelessly via 802.11g or bluetooth (I know the chip is in there!) connections to a receiver and interface with your car stereo and therefore replace all modern options of controls if you were willing to spend the time on it.
Think of the possibilities! Pass your iPod around and have people choose music and play it while playing games on the road. Or pass the iPod back and have the kids watch a movie on the screen and play the audio stream on the car speakers.
I was thinking in very basic terms and I'm sure you can't get this sophisticated with the iPhone SDK but the premise of the idea was phenomenal to me.
Throw some ideas around I'd love to hear feedback. And if this has been thought of and posted than I'm sorry and disregard this.
