I have a 1st gen ipod touch that has been treating me great for almost a year. I recently got a new car with an integrated ipod kit. I've been using the ipod within the kit, and after a few days, I took it out and noticed the battery was essentially dead, and that it would take about ten minutes for it to even start playing in the car (I figure because the car needed to charge it). So, I wanted to use it at home, charged it up to full, and played a few songs. About 20% of the battery died immediately, and by next morning, even without being used, the batter was essentially dead. It no longer keeps a charge of any kind, and it's not great to use in the car either. What should I do? Any help would be very much appreciated.
Also, as a quick note, this ipod touch was a replacement from the first I had, which started turning off at random after about a year of use. Apple was nice enough to replace it, but I forget what the warranty is for such a thing. Is it 30 days or something of the sort? If anyone knows, that'd be wonderful, but if you could direct me to the right person, that'd be great too.
Thanks very much!
