iPod touch car kit?

I was wondering can the i touch connect into a car cd player that accept ipod? Also will it charge the itouch i know a friend of mine has the classic and it doesnt charge whill plugged into the cars cd player? Thanks

my touch plays perfectly fine but won't charge through my car dock

i used to have a old ipod classic and when i connect it with aux cable in my car it would charge it but im wondering if anybody has it charging as well in their car?
