w/ the new ipod touch and its nike+ feature
i was thinking of using my touch instead of my shuffle (huge size difference i know...)

i was wondering if there was anyone here who has anything to say about using the touch for running..

oh and yeah would you recommend an armband or belt clip?
the touch would look awfully big on your arm wouldnt it?

I use my iPhone all the time, usually just by putting it in my Jean's watch pocket. I would think the iPod touch would be fine, so long as you aren't a stick.

i'm not sure about the touch, but i think for the larger ipods a belt clip is good. i had two muvos with armbands way back when, and it was okay since they were light enough, but have liked the 30gb video on my waist. just feed the headphones under your shirt, and you can run freely without anything in your way

I too have a shuffle and touch (and several Nanos, but we wont go into that). I use my touch regularly when at the gym, i don't notice the weight. But for running outside, then i would use the shuffle as it is much lighter and durable (shuffles are practically indestructible).
