iPod iPod touch update question

Hey I got the touch just purchased last week. Does the update for $20 come with my touch or do I have to purchase it? I know the old owners have to purchase...thanks

it should have shipped with the upgrade.

I think you should be able to get the update from Apple for free.

did you pay full price? i got mine on january 17th, it was literally just after they announced the update and the apple store only had the old ones so it was $279.

anyhow, do you HAVE the applications is the big question? do you have an icon for mail, stocks, maps, notes, and whatever the fifth one is, weather or youtube, i don't remember... ??? if so, then you're up to date.
