I have a 64gb iPod touch which will not connect to the bluetooth in my car.
I have a Ford S Max.
When i try to connect the iPod recognises the the car and the car recognises the iPod but it always sais that the conction has failed.
I keep trying putting in the codes that the car gives me but it never connects.
Any ideas please.
John

The ford audio system only works for the phone and the touch dosnt have this built in so will fail.

I have the same problem with my 64g touch. I have a usb connection in the car (2009 Mondeo) But I have to connect via the line in socket which allows me to play the touch through the audio system but I have no access to it through the steering column controls. I had a 32 g touch when I first got the car & this worked perfectly! The Ford garage have told me there may be a software update by March.

Are you trying to use it through the ford sync via bluetooth streaming? If its a sync system I'd stick to using the usb connection because you'll be able to have it index your library and you can use voice commands.
