iPod iPod video (5.5) calendar syncs contacts won't

I've searched the forums and haven't found my answer. I have found out that you can sync music with one computer (home) and sync contacts/calendars with another computer (work), which is what I'm trying to do.

First: work computer is PC/XP pro with iTunes (7.6.0.29) & iPod video (5.5) with software (1.2.3).

When I connect iPod to work computer it shows that it is syncing with calendar and contacts, but when sync completes the contacts are not there. The calendar is fine but no contacts. I have tried this a couple of ways by enabling disk space and without.

Any ideas besides get a Mac (sorry but there is always a joker in the crowd)
