iPod iPod Video Brightness

Hey,

I own a 5.5g Video iPod running 1.2.1 software.

Does anyone know if there is a way you can turn down the brightness as much as an iPod classic?

I have seen them and they dim almost completely. The 5.5g Video iPod, however doesn't. It stays fairly bright at the lowest possible setting. Does 1.2.3 software upgrade change this?

no it doesnt. i feel your pain, I sometimes listen to music as I fall asleep and the lowest setting is shockingly bright. The only solution for me was a playlist.

Thanks for the fast reply! yes apple should release an update to change this. I have also found that the original video 5g iPods completely dimmed as well.....hhmmmmm
