I'm trying to put some of my home videos on my ipod (ie. taken with my digital camera).

which software is the best for converting videos to a compatible format? is this even possible?

I use isquint and it works well and is free... www.isquint.org. I just finally bought their program called Visual Hub. My wife has been using it today and says it is great too.
