iPod ipod video help

i converted all my videos to mp4 and when i synced my ipod.. the videos appeared on my ipod except the only thing that played was the music [and their was the picture of the video on the side] how do i make the videos work?

Are they showing up under the "Movies" or "Videos" top menu on your iPod, and is that where you are playing them from? Note that there is also a "Music > Videos" submenu; if you play movies or videos from the submenu under the Music top menu, it will only play the soundtrack, and not the video (at least, that's the case on my 5.5G iPod).

It wounds like you have the TV Out on
Go to Video-Video Settigs and turn it off. Then it appears on the iPod screen.

That should do the trick. It caught me out first time too.
