Im EVERYWHERE!
Hi everyone!

Okay so i found an old ipod video in my drawer and im trying to get it working again. I was getting the "very low charge" screen so i took the ipod apart and reconncted the battery ribbon. then i left it plugged into the wall over night (with no screen indicating it was charging).

Today, i can use the ipod normally EXCEPT that as soon as i plug in a cable (tried old and new cables) to any of the 2 usb ports on my macbook pro OR the wall outlet, the ipod shuts off!

I can reset the ipod when its unplugged and put it into disk mode but as SOON as i plug a cable into the bottom it shuts off! any ideas?
