Suddenly my 60GB 3 yrs old ipod went crazy and I dont know what to do or how to reset it. At other point the screen was changing from blue to green to gree n to red. A few mins ago the screen was showing a bunch of numbers Then asked me a bunch of questions and saying click menu to continue. and now screen shows accesorize test and stuff like Please plug fw. Just creazy computer talk. Also stays on and wont shut off.

HOw I get it back showing the regular screen. Thanks all

try doing a restore with iTunes

It looks like your iPod is in the diagnostic mode. Try holding down the Menu and Select buttons until you see the Apple logo. If your iPod is the model with touch buttons above the click wheel (I can't remember which generation) toggle the hold switch on and off, then hold down the Play and Menu buttons until the Apple logo appears.

After a while, you should see the standard iPod menus.

I did exactly that and is back to normal work mode. It was very estrange.

Thx ya'll
