iPod without the phone

Would any other iPhone user be really angry if Apple did release an iPod with all of the features of the iPhone minus the phone bit? I just got my iPhone on Monday and I would feel completely ripped off if Apple did this....

i think its a good idea. but i want the phone part too. so im not pissed. im happy with what i have.

Who says that functionality won't come to the iPhone. It seems to have all the ingredients (iPod, Wifi, UI, etc...) just not the software... YET?

With the capabilities of OSX on the iPhone, I can't imagine it not being possible.
