iPod iPod won't unmount.

Since I installed tiger on my 1.8Ghz G5 iMac, my iMac won't unmount. 'Tunes aren't updated. Preferences for it can't be saved. I could not even restore it. Allegedly it is in use by something else.

I fixed it by restoring it on an older eMac running Panther. Took it back to the iMac and synced the tunes fine. Then a day later it wouldn't unmount again. Restarting does not fix the issue.

Any ideas?
